All the children around the world play. When they grow up they usually stop playing and start working. For a few years, I had been watching the kids of Agua-Sabrosa play in  and around the village from dawn to dusk. They did not have toys, but they always played. Some kids in the modern world have rooms full of toys, but quite often they complain to their parents that they are bored. There are definitely some good toys out there, but in general, I think that most modern world kids have too many toys. The more they have, the more addicted and dependent they become, to the extent that they cannot entertain themselves without their toys. Playing without toys, on the other hand, induces children’s imagination and encourages creativity, and if you have imagination and creativity, the sky is not your limit.
