Painting without any intention or goal is very liberating, however, quite often, the work itself leads me to a specific theme or idea. In this work, other than the fruit ice cream colors, I felt some kind of energy, and a movement of particles through a specific channel. Being quite ignorant in both physics and chemistry, two words kept echoing in my mind; the first was convection, the second diffusion. A few days later, when I googled both words, I was quite amused to find the Convection Diffusion Equation, and although I didn’t take the time to dwell on it, I thought it’s a great name for a work that began with no intention or goal.
